Plot
The Canines have fought for dominance for thousands and thousands of years. The wolves may be strong and smart, but the coyotes are quicker and cleverer. They have been living the same way ever since the beginning. It's like a continuosly turning cycle, one that always begins and ends on wolves winning dominance. It's been like that ever since they could remember. If anything were ever to disrupt that cycle, it would result in pure chaos.
So what happens when the Felines come along? It results in chaos, of course. They are nothing these Canines have seen before. Sure, they have four legs- but their muzzles are different, attitudes, nearly everything. One species is smart and full of determination, known as the lynx. The other may not be as smart, but is much stronger than the wolf and is driven by a hidden range. They are known as the cougars. One thing that is even more threatening is their ability to live in peace, without attacking each other. Actually, they seem to be even on friendly terms.
The Felines took over much of their territory and are threatening to take over more. They kill many wolves and coyotes all the time. If the wolves and coyotes wish to stay alive and keep their remaining territories, they must learn to live in harmony. They must learn to coexist like the cougars and the lynx.
The Canines have a Council, every council member represents one wolf pack. They have two messengers, the fastest coyotes available. The Council is trying to decide whether or not to include Coyotes as members, which would be helpful to survival for both. But the wolves don't want to do this, in fear that it would give coyotes more power- enough to win dominance for once.
The Felines have something similar to a council; a bureau. The bureau is where the felines report to, how many canines they've seen, how many dead, prey, and so on. They also control whether or not they will have a full-on war. Just like the canines, each group is represented by one Bureau member.Welcome to Venkata, my friend.
